I didn't want to upload a video because I don't like to do that so I'll type this random piece of thoughts.
I just wanted to say I got a ONE-HUNDRED on that paper i posted right before this post. :) That was like MAJOR improvement from my other papers. Just thought I'd inform y'all because I'm really happy. :)

I think I wanted to say something else than what I was already going to say but I forgot. Bummer. Ok, well here we go. I had to do a project for literature class on the book Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad. I decided to rewrite the ending and my class thought it was pretty good. Caroline (agraciousdemeanor.blogspot.com) told me I should put it on my bog. Sooooo, here we go. :)
***You should know that the person writing it is the main dude of the book, Marlow. So yea, and any random people who just happen to come across this paper, you can't steal it for your tenth grade literature paper. ;)

“I seemed to hear the whispered cry, ‘The horror! The horror!’ And then I awoke, drenched in sweat with my hands in a clenched form. My heart was racing, for I felt as if my whole life changed in the blink of an eye. I was confused by this sleep that was the most calming and relaxing, yet terribly frightening. I sat up in my bed and suddenly fell back. I felt faint but serene. I’ve never felt this way before. I thought for a moment and realized that my whole adventure in the Congo was a dream. When I say adventure, I mean adventure. My aunt, a woman, you see, was able to get me on a cruising yawl, the Nellie. This boat brought me to the Congo in Africa, which I call, the Heart of Darkness. This place is full of adventure but an evil most people only hear about. That is where I met the man named Kurtz. He had this ‘will do’ attitude on life and, because of this he lost his sanity and became, to me, the most frightening, exciting concept ever.

I met Kurtz and he seemed to change my life, for the better or worse, I do not know. He was a magnificent person in the sense that he would stop at nothing for his ivory. That is determination, which people should have when they are going after their desires. He did, though, destroy innocent people who loved him. These people would kill for him and instead, he murdered them to get this hard, smooth, off-white substance. He had a certain hunger for it, as a starving man for food or a greedy man for wealth.

When one goes to a place such as I went (even though in a dream) from a place of reality where I live, life becomes a little blurry When I awoke, because of the contrast of many things, such as the scenery, people and culture, I was unaware of my surroundings. I expected to be lying in an uncomfortable hammock, surrounded by a few snoring men and other frightening noises. Then I realized where I was and what I had learned. The people in Africa have a certain passion that the people where I live lack. They will kill for their families, governments and gods, if need be. They take life more as a challenge that must be overcome, rather than time to fool around. They would do anything for their beliefs. It may seem strange to people not accustomed to that life, but that is all these people know and that’s what Kurtz understood.

When I entered the Congo, I was looking for adventure. I wanted to experience something different than living with my aunt and going to a school that required manners no one else needed to have. I wanted a different life than drinking tea and sitting in a room listening to some pretty girl sing with a not so pretty voice. I really did not want all the fancies I was accustomed to. I wanted adventure. I have always read of the voyages in the story books and how people would die but they didn’t care because it was all part of the blood-pumping expedition. The Congo made me understand factual life and how those stories of knights and fair maidens and sea creatures and flying people are just that, stories. I understood that Kurtz was real, and that is what scared me the most.

Kurtz did appeal to me though, but I knew that he was what all people have the potential to become. He knew what it took to get what he desired and he went for it. People of any place could become what Kurtz was. He was a conniving man with the potential to be great. Most people are kind but only because they find no meaning in being the way Kurtz was. If they were pushed though… if they were pushed they would understand.

No one understood, though. How could they? They didn’t know what I knew. They did not feel how I felt. Only I understood Mr. Kurtz. I understood because I realized that I could be just like him. This dream must have been to show me that that is how I would have been if I went to the Congo because of my confusion about actual life. I did not know that people were the way these Africans were, thought to be evil but were really just trying to finish this life with the knowledge that they could have done no more. I would turn into a Kurtz because I didn’t understand real life; Kurtz did, but after it was too late. He understood “real” life because that’s exactly what he was. And that is exactly what I would have become, a man who had passion but gave up love. I would have determination but also selfishness. My morals would be gone; everything I learned in those “too nice of schools” would be no more. And I am glad I awoke.

Yea, so I haven't gotten my grade yet but I hope it's good, lol. :)

These words sung by The Band Perry are so beautiful to me. One because white means purity and I love the thought of being pure physically going into marriage and pure in heart, mind and soul. Two because I'M GOING INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD. There is nothing cooler or more exciting than that. And cooler thing two is you could come also. :) Just "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved." Another verse is, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved." See the bolded, italicised and underlined wills? That means it's legit. It will happen if you do what comes before.

Q- Can you think of anything more exciting than that??

***And remember, it's the greatest gift ever so always remember to be thankful for what Jesus did on the cross.

AWANA. ^.^

So if there is one thing I love (and there is) it's AWANA. It's a fun time to hang out with godly people, laugh at boys who are bad at football, do some trivia with a pastor at my church and have a really impacting lesson that opens our eyes to the world and what is going on and how to face that Biblically. IT IS FUN. I always have a slew of emotions coming out after AWANA. Sometimes it's fear, not knowing how I'm going to face what Krieger has told us initially but then realizing I can only face anything thru God. He's got everything under control and for that reason I should be afraid of nothing. I'm really grateful for the helpers and everyone for asking questions and making me understand stuff I didn't before. Thank You, God, for AWANA and that blessing in my life. =)

Projects, iPod and a Week off of School!!

So this week my school took a break but we all still had a ton of work to do. I'm now working on a power point of Southern Africa. I think it's gonna be great but I have no idea how to do a power point and I have other stuff to do!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! But such is life! :) But listening to songs on my iPod that range from Can't Help Falling in Love and I'll be There to Firework and If I Die Young always helps. :)

Vlogging.

So, I think that blogging is fun, but it is very "21st- century-esk" to vlog. So I will, one day... IT WILL HAPPEN. Yesssssssssssssssssssssss. And this will be where I post the vlog 'cause I got no facebook (funny, I used to be the master of said social network site).

And JB's new movie has come out. And I SHALL see it someday.

Anyway, Valentines day is tomorrow!!! I love V-day, even if I don't have a Valentine. <3

And I watched GONE WITH THE WIND yesterday. It's amazing and I'm telling you, reader, to go watch it. now.

2 Facts: first- I did just put the title of JB's cd as the title of this post.

second- this is my second post in ONE DAY. :O

So this is gonna be a bit random. So here we go!!

This picture pretty much defines my relationship with Caroline ^ I mean forreal if we are together this is was happens. It's madness, legit. We fall all over ourselves and spastically laugh like it was our last day. And I love her!
Also, the girl standing next to us is one of my great friends. Her name is Abigail and this picture describes her too. She's got her camera on her shoulder and a Dr. Pepper in her hand. And she's laughing, yup, that's Abigail for ya. :)

Now this is Hayley. ^ She has become one of my BEST FRIENDS EVER. I love her sooooo much and she is so godly and such a great girl. :) Now Hayley and I both realize this is not the most pleasant of photos of both of us BUT,

That was the day we went to a water park near our town and I almost died and Hayley got sunburned for the first time ever and ya know things were just messy that day. So don't judge. :) Lol jk. (=

SICK :O

'Tis the season to be SICK. I don't know about you guys but I hate being sick! I've been coughing since Saturday. It's Wednesday and I've blown my nose about a bajillion times, sneezed an incredible amount and coughed until I could not take it anymore. I had a fever of 100.6 and I'm sorry to anyone else I get sick. I MISSED SCHOOL. I never miss school and I didn't go yesterday. Instead, I spent all day watching movies and eating icecream.... tragedy. hahahaha. (= But atleast I'm livin'. :D

Night of the REAPERS. =D

So a typical Friday night for me is sitting home, texting and watching sappy girl movies with my mother. Which I love, btw. But every new year around the beginning of February a bunch of kids and adults go to this family at my church's property and have something like a scavenger hunt in the woods at night. And it is soooooooooooooo fun. (= The Gospel is shared at the end which gets our minds off the disgusting food wre have to eat and how cold and wet we are. I love it.

Told You I was Random

I think yellow is too bright of a color to have publishing the great works of literature that I compile and place on this blog. Hahaha just kidding, but still, it hurts my eyes.

So, as I said in my past entry, I love Jesus. He is the light of the world and He died on the cross along time ago because people (yes that includes you, reader) are sinners. We cannot go to heaven with sin in our hearts and God did not want us to go to hell so Jesus died for us. Now, mind you, He did not have to. He was sinless, but He loved us sooooooooo much. All you gotta do is "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved..." (Acts 16:31).

Here's a picture of me and my short but lovely friend, Augusta. Now if you did not originally believe I was random, now you know!

Soooo, what do I like? hmmm pretty much a lot of stuff. The stuff I like is kinda a definition of me.
   * I love JESUS CHRIST- He died for me and you and everyone else. And He rose from that grave. Why? 'Cause He is God! Creator and Savior of mankind. (=
* I love music- it allows expression.
* I love softball- it's fun. :D
* I love to dance- it's fun too!
* I love love. I'm a real softy and I love sappy romance movies. :D
* I talk a lot when I have something to say and I'm almost as random as it gets.
* I love people. A lot. If I were alone I might as well just... hmm I dk. But God is always with me so I don't have to worry about anything. :D
* My favorite TV shows are The Mentalist, The Nanny and Hawaii 5-0.
Now, these shows are certainly not a part of describing me, I just like them. (= Well, I'm not a very complex person, as you can tell, so that's enough for now.
